What url are you entering in the browser? You (probably) shouldn't be putting public_html in the url, if that's what you're doing. That's usually the folder that contains things that are at the root.

I mean when I go to www.website.com it should take me to the home page. When I go to www.website.com/forums it should take me to the forums page. My point is, it won't even take me to the home page. I removed the public_html and it still doesn't work.

Everything worked perfectly until I moved the folders to a new server, so I guess let me take a different stand.

Since I moved all files to a new server (downloaded via ftp from old server and uploaded via ftp to new server), what information would need to be changed in what files so things can work properly? This is where I believe the problem is. If I know this, I can take the right steps to fix it.
