Does no one have an answer to this?

Thanks to some off forum help, I now use the announcements system to put a static message in each forum and then use the forum permissions system to stop others seeing posts that they haven't made themselves.

The only problem with this is that I want others to be able to see the thread title but not the content of the thread.

Is there a way to do this?
