It takes about 1.8 to 3 seconds for me to load your forums.
I assume you use shared hosting at GoDaddy? The performance of your site will always be lower than a dedicated server or VPS when you use shared hosting.

I would do the following:
- Disable any plugins/hooks you have installed in vBulletin and see if there's a difference.
- Execute a SQL query directly (through PHPMyAdmin for example), if that's also slow then it's definitely an issue in the configuration of MySQL.
