Did the other person modify .htaccess or anything in the internal settings in vBSEO? If so I'd revert those changes too. If you have a database backup handy you could compare the info in the vbseo tables in the old backup to the current database and possibly see where the difference is.

Not sure honestly just thought to comment that perhaps there was another edit made you just need to realize, then revert.
