If those other modifications use the standard vBulletin "Advertising" functionality to add banners between posts, then those modifications will also work with ForumAds.

If they do not use the standard vBulletin "Advertising" functionality, then they are vastly different to this mod and cannot be compared in any way, shape or form.

Saying "this other mod does X so you should too" is like saying "this car can do 250 mph so all cars should too", which is simply not the case.
