Thank you HM666 and cellarius for taking your time to respond!
@HM666; I really appreciate the alternative solution but I don't want them to delete their posts. xD
If all else fails, I might just use it as a last resort if my fellow mods and admins are all pooped out. We've been getting a handful of requests for poll deletions everyday (which was why I came here to ask if there was any mods for it or settings I overlooked) xD
@cellarius; Yeah, I tried that earlier on a test thread.
For SMF, members are freely able to add/delete/edit the poll. Whenever they edit the poll, they basically only edit the options, not the poll votes.
If a poll was made for "Do you like Bananas?" and the options were only Yes and No, the user may want to edit the options to add in Maybe because (s)he might have forgotten about it.
And allowing members to freely change their votes at anytime (if the thread starter allows it) helps too. I found an Undo Vote modification by BirdOfPrey for this one though.
My members think it's too much of a hassle to create threads for weekly discussions and they felt it's a lot more simpler to just put it all into one thread and continually update it. This was one of the redeeming features that SMF offered, but I want to go vB 4.2 since I didn't really like SMF with its error log spam and how mods easily conflict one another..
