Its because when i did so, the ad global header banners stopped resizing with window size, note my 3 ad banners total width when put side by side is 1279px, so they look good as long as you dont resize the window, but when you do BOM they will get scrambled out of place and they will move down to the next line so the whole site looks pretty messed up, so there....
Thats why i figured creating a custom template for ad_global_header3 and somehow make it inherit the properties of ad_global_header1 & 2 is expected to make vbulletin back-end program manipulate it more efficiently, hence it will behave just like ad_global_header1 & 2
