Really? As versions numbers of software increases so does minimum version and often hardware requirements increase as well.
Not to mention VB4 ran fine on virtually every other shared host, and only had a problem on GoDaddy Windows hosting, so how is that NOT "their fault" if fault is the word you want to use.
Probably some obscure setting or configuration no one else uses so things don't get tested against.
As for VB4 being like VB3, sure- but it is clear VB4 uses more resources than VB3 if you've ever run them side by side.
