Guys this seems quite inpractical to me.. If you drag the latest poll in to your non-vb webpage, any member can create a new poll and it will override yours (or have you disabled "create poll feature" for all your members??).
Besides in most of the boards, giving votes in polls is permitted to only registered members so publising the poll in a non-vb page (eg. main page) seems pointless since most of the visitors (non-members) will get the "no permission" page if they vote.
If you say that you set "everybody can vote" and "only admins can create polls" in your vb settings, then why do you need using vb polling system anyway? If this is the case, this means that you dont need vb features in your polls and any polling script will do the trick for you.

There are plenty of free polling scripts around which you can use in your non-vb page..
