Do you mean Tags or Thread Prefixes? I'm not sure what you mean by "follow" a tag/prefix though. You may do a Search for a certain Tag or Thread Prefix. You may have several Tags assigned to a thread, but you may only have one Thread Prefix assigned to a thread. There is an option to force a user to assign a Thread Prefix to a thread when they create one. There is no option to force a user to select Tags when they create a thread.
