What version of vB are you running? I'm not sure when they added it (if it is even the issue) but vB update the files to include to support this mod. I was running vB 4.2.1 and I could put the thanks box inside the post. I updated to vB 4.2.2 PL1 a month or two ago and now I can't get it to work. Even by using the same modification I made on 4.2.1.

So I think there needs to be another modification made before we can get it inside the post on 4.2.2.
