Well, this thread is going on five years old now, and vB4.0 was hardly gold material back then - PHP 5.4 and 5.5. was not among the issues back then, of course.

What I really wonder is why this thread is still open and even a sticky, almost 5 years after the release it is about, and god knows how many bugfix releases later. I really can't imagine there's still much need for discussion of the vB4 gold release. But that's not for me to decide
