Most people can tell a vBulletin powered site regardless of what it looks like. Futhermore as you're required to leave the copyright in the footer people really don't have to look far to find that information...
On top of that, anyone with browser developer tools can simply inspect an element of the board and see that it is 'vbulletin_html' ..

So really I think that trying to hide that would take more time than it is worth personally. If somebody wants to find that information they will.
