i installed the polls on my test forum and added the 2 lines Ed said in the poll.php and showthread.php

now when i post a poll with a ' in it

i.e. don't it comes up => don't which is fine

but hit the edit link, and do nothing but submit again...

the don't now comes up as don\'t

and if i do another edit and submit it ends up show as

don\\\'t
