For my forum I would like to be able to add a additional profile field with a php script behind it.

I can't find any application that currently does this.

Also the script itself still should be made if anyone would be willing to help me with it that would be great.

Let me give you a idea what the field should be doing:
People can after registering "claim" a account from a game, the user should put in there name and press a button. Then the script should sent a pm/whisper to that name trough a chat system(pidgin for example) with a unique code. They should put that code in a field bellow it, if it is the same as the code that was sent it should claim that name.

If this is too hard a additional field that checks if nobody else uses the name should also work(like a 2nd username). Maybe a contact support button next to the field would be a nice addition to tell a admin somebody else used his ingame name.

Would be awesome if somebody could help me with this!
