actually, it appears it did not fix the issue.... only partially.

what it used to do:
(in a thread you are subbed to) you type and hit the post button, the post is send and the page is refreshed, and it shows you have a new notification. and when you leave the thread it still shows you have a notification.

what it does now:
(in a thread you are subbed to) you type and hit the post button, the post is send and the page is refreshed, and it shows you have a new notification. but when you leave the thread (another page is loaded), the notification is gone, as the page has been marked as read.

so there still is the issue of a notification being shown to the user (in my opinion) inappropriately.

But I do agree, this does seem like a issue with the mod rather than VB3.x
