We really need a MOD to schedule private messages to be sent.

Here's how I picture the functionality in a nutshell:

Each scheduled private message could have the following options:

• Send to specific usergroups and/or exclude specific usergroups
• Set user to send private message from
• Create multiple custom private messages based on specific account related events

Send private messages based on:

• Date Joined (Has been registered for 10 days, 30 days, etc)
  
• Promotions. Users could automatically receive a PM when a usergroup promotion takes place for their account. (When a user becomes a full member, top contributor, paid member, experienced member, etc etc could each have a unique PM sent automatically)
  
• Post count. (User has made 10 posts, 20 posts, etc. Would be handy to include functionality to prevent a second PM if the user reaches a post count more than once, due to deleted posts, etc)
  
• Threads in certain forums.

The list could really go on but I see some serious power and new opportunities with this type of functionality.
