I think I've worked out the issue here. The system doesn't show the 'auto' bids to users other than the owner (this needs expanding into a usergroup permission so that the admins and moderators can see).

At the moment it's showing you the bids that aren't 'automatic', which in this case is the very first bid of 10.50. I'll take a look at a work around on this problem.
