Ok, you can close this thread. I managed to fix this by changing the settings from content.php to content/

I just cannot figure out what changed though because I haven't touched these settings in months. Once I tried using the default htacces though and still had the issue I knew it had to be a setting.

I am sort of glad I got no replies here though as it was a simple issue and I learned from it. I often overlook the simplistic fixes and expect something more complex. So thanks for ignoring me.
