I was wondering, is there a hack where Public Calender events popup when a user first visits the forum home, if there is an event on that day? Excluding birthdays, so just a public event that we have added into our calender?

Even if you cant get them to popup, maybe have them like $birthdaybits. So they show up on teh main page just under the birthdays and you can click them to go read the event.

If there isnt one, how hard would it be to make? Could someone make it?
