Issue discovered this morning, this problem did not exist last night.

All settings and permissions are correct.
Still have problem with hooks disabled
This was working last night and there have been no changes

Board is http://mlbfanforum.com and a thread exists in following forum:

http://mlbfanforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=8

Have tried rebuilding forums, posts, repair/optimize tables, rebuild search, etc.

When you click on a forum that has no posts, you get the vBulletin message "There are no posts in this forum" but when you click on the one that does, that area is just blank.

I'm flummoxed.
