I just noticed on my test vb4.2.2 installation, the default has hour set to 5, which would mean it would only run once a day.

Omg! This worked thank you so much! A lot of my members depend on thread search so this is good.

One last question, should I disable queue search updates? or just set the scheduled task to be faster
