For my company we added code for 'twitter cards' it really is just a modified version of 'Open Graph'. Since there is no direct RSS feed. All those companies do is translate your RSS feed to twitter cards. When I get a chance I will do a little surfing to see if there is an easier solution, that you can employ. I have not seen a twitter card 'mod' for vbulletin. Although facebook has not had any announcement, I am pretty sure they plan to drop RSS in the future too. This was a huge souce of indirect spam for twitter.

There are some free 'twitter card libraries' on github if you are planning to roll your own. This is what I looked at before I wrote my own code.
