vb.org Archive - View Single Post - why should i upgrade to vb4?

None that I've ever seen. I stayed with my 3.8 and have never looked back. Latest version of it, 3.8.8 - addresses the new PHP version issues as well.

They will have to pry my 3.8 out of my cold, dead hands. Just far too many security issues with version 4, just for starters. Look around here at vB dot org at all the "OMGz I have been hacked!" threads. They are all v4 installations.

Don't do it, is my advice. You'll rue the day.
