I had some problems with my main site and had to take it down for a week or so. I had a backup copy set up, and forwarded the URL to it. Got back on vacation, fixed the problem and turned the main site back on.

My problem: I don't want to lose the week's worth of posts while the main site was offline. Is there a clean way to merge that backup database with the main copy, without having all the posts duplicated?
