Don't worry. You're not alone on this boat. If you read other threads you'll see that most vB5 buyers are finally downloading/using an earlier version. But IB does not cares for it. They're getting the price of vB5 while they know that only a few are finally using this version.

But is a good chance for them to understand that without the support of 3nd party developers/designers vB5 should remain for years just a forum software like many others out there. What makes a software successfull or not is the available addons. Till now IB thought that they don't really need 3nd party supporters. Maybe they must recalculate their thoughts.
