What are you using to stop your spammers now?

I was sleeping when they registered and spammed the forums, that's not something I could have taken care of.

I downloaded this one mod off here, "spammers suck". Do you recommend a better one?

Also, how would I make the portal page like this?

My "index.php" is just a page with recent posts. Is there some type of mod that would allow me to make it like that?
