vb.org Archive - View Single Post - How to rearrange the files in my site to prevent crash

My home page is on index.php(or the root directory), and my forum is on forum.php. so it's like www.maddenstudents.com is the homepage, and then www.maddenstudents.com/forum.php is the forum. I feel like this is going to be a problem when I update my vbulletin. How can I rearrange my site so that it's not going to break if I update it?
