Edit to add, real pain in the neck to manually modify templates if you have several styles. Couldn't this automatically install the needed hook?

I understand it's a pain in the neck. We've added auto-insert so it automatically hooks onto the bottom of the navigation bar, and if you don't like the positioning, you can turn off auto-insert and place $facebook_like_box somewhere manually. That's the best we can do -- we don't have it as easy as vB 4.x
