This has always been the template by which they've sold stuff, even back when they were under Jelsoft. Just because you happen to dislike the current version is not the same thing as it being two versions that should have two prices. Getting the same product for less due to happenstance is how business works. For software, that's even more commonplace.

Well at lease they should make the price higher for new clients.
