There is no way to do that in the current software. Doing it via the database is pretty complicated (well, it took me 20 minutes to figure out). You need to modify stuff in three tables: node, closure, (and I swear I changed things in another, but now I forget which). Anyway, take a look at those tables and you may see what needs to be changed and maybe you can write some modification to do it.
