We're having the same issues but I've asked a coder if they can fix the code for us. If we get it working we'll post the update here.

vB 3.8.4 is our preferred version at the moment. The hack works per se but only Admin can see the hack-edit. Other mods can't even though the check-box is ticked to allow them to view original poster.
