vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Forum being overrun by fake registrations

I am running vBulletin 3.8.4. Even though I am using the security and human verifications options within the software, my forum is being overrun by fake registrations. This has just started happening over the past couple months. I get dozens every night.

Does anybody know how to stop this? If possible, please put in plain English, as I am not an expert on vBulletin in the least.
