v123shine -- Thank you for passing that along. It looks good for posts and I'll take a closer look at it. I was hoping to find that exact thing for threads... a +1 or -1 (like/dislike) for the thread, and have a number attributed to that thread.

A +20 is a great thread. A -6 is weak thread. Etc.

The problem with thread rating (aside from the multiple clicks it takes) is the 5-star system doesn't make much of a distinction based on the number of votes it receives. A thread can be 5-stars after 2 votes or 5-stars after 60 votes, but the 60-vote thread is far superior. I want something that is quick, painless and gives users incentive to upvote or downvote a thread.
