The amount of teams that you selected have to be and even "rooted" number as I call it. If you have 12 teams, then you have 6 after round one, then 3 after round two(this is your issue), 1 team has no one to play which results in an error.)

If it was 16,8,4,2,Winner! Then it would be just fine. Hope that helps
