New Features
Rebuild @Tagging System like Facebook’s’ [Custom Built-in Modification]

Complete built in modification inside of notifications
User gets notification when tagged in post
Gives notifications to user when tagged.


Each post has its’ own notifications control button added. Use “settings” icon image. Put it bottom right.

When clicking on “settings icon,” This will disable/enable all “related” notifications for that post, so disable likes, quotes, comment replies, etc for the post. Should be on every post.

Complete Built-in Like System (Custom Built-in Modification)

Ability to disable/enable
vBSocial Notifications needs its own like notification system
Add a like me button inside per post (similar to vBSEO likes) Users get a notification that shows up in their notifications. “David, Joe, and 5 others have liked your post” If first post”
This should show both in the thread and the notifications drop down
When you click on “5 Others” it should open up a popup like Facebook’s and show users avatars and names of all the people who liked it.”
Users get notifications for Likes on their threads/posts.


Complete Built-in Reputation like "Dizcuz" platform
Description: One line comments that come along with an reputation award (or penalty)

Ability to disable/enable
Notifications when someone gives you

This uses and integrates with vBulletin's Reputation system*
The more repuation points a post gets, the higher it moves in the thread (except post 1)
Posts with bad reputation get moved to bottom of thread

Private Messaging Like Facebook:

Ability to enable/disable
Rebuild existing private message system like Facebook's
Multiple messages from the same person are merged into one long conversation between you and the user and you can reply from that combined message just like Facebook.
Newest messages are bumped up to the top.

Existing Bugs:

Moderation Dropdown – New items not being highlighted
Moderation Dropdown – Items are not being cleared, even if viewed already. “Old items are showing, even when they don’t exist”
Lag every X interval seconds. "Disappearing characters while typing"
Need to improve optimization. Ask other developers, ODESK, etc. *Very important*
Foreign Language tweak needs to be applied to user dropdown


Improved Design
Option to choose: Fluid Header vs. Fixed - Header that comes down the page.

Ability to remove header completely and replace with vBSocial Header.
Small avatar icon
Settings button on far right. This will be the location of custom links and settings.
Name and Avatar click drop down like Google + as like Wordpress Mod
Click on big avatar in drop down, and it allows user to change avatar popup.
Automatic implementation upon .XML install
Option to remove ALL of header content and replace with vBSocial Notifications
Option to control “X” amount of space between navbar and vBSocial notifications
Design should be default like black and white look.
All design properties should be in livenotifications.css and be labeled.


Existing Facebook Integration in Dropdown

Use the existing vBulletin Facebook Connect functionality. Simply use the Facebook button connectivity in drop down login.
Ability to disable/enable button so it doesn’t show in drop down

Logo should be link to home
Home should be link to home

"Sign in or Register" at top where it says "Sign in" When clicking on "sign in or register text" the drop down opens

Include regular registration link with dropdown.
Add Google compatibility settings integration. (with admincp disable/enable)

Have it say "Remember Me for 2 Weeks"
