short on time so I'll only write a quick post

Max there were MySQL referencing errors in the database due to corruption when a failed import took place. There were also various other small issues. I observed that steve's old host was using apache webserver with server loads of between 6.0 and 8.0. I can only imagine what the RAM usage was like with that sort of load.

The host I recommended the board be moved to is charging 6$ p/m and I can confirm the site is much faster. I've had good experiences with the new host in the past and I also managed to save Steve 125$ with a coupon on his hosting bill long term. The new package giveshim 50gb space and 500gb transferwhich is plenty room to grow as opposedto the 3gb disk and 100gb transfer he was paying before for 12$.

I also managed to fully import the database without any errors. After this I also enabled litespeed cache on his board as well as fixing his attachments references. There were many small tweaks and hopefully Steve's site will work blazing fast now with all the tweaks applied. In total I spent between 4 and 5 hours

I can confirm that I've checked the site on pingdom and is returning <1 second load timewhereas before was showing roughly 4seconds. Overall Steve is pleased and I'm pleased with the results. If Steve feels I helped him then that is all that matters
