Unfortunately, it won't be easy, especially without any knowledge of CSS.

CSS is probably about the easiest thing to understand as far as modding vBulletin goes and it just gets harder from there. If you are looking for a specific custom look you will probably have to pay someone to do it for you. Look around here there are plenty of people doing this sort of thing.
