Any vBulletin 5 modification will require a file upload, The old ages of uploading the xml file from admincp is gone.
However if uploading files causing an error with you, Don't make anything, I don't want to break your forum even for just 5 minutes

This bug is related to vBulletin not to me, I saw it fixed and I tested it and found it fixed, I don't know if alpha team have a different versions than what is released to the customers.
That's why I need to check the issue alive, Because it's a vBulletin bug WHICH vBulletin has fixed it early :
