Is there a mod for this?

Which I could also do but I wasn't sure where to add this code-

Does anyone know where in the post.php and thread.php I am suppose to put the code above? Does it matter where I put it in? Or just as long as it's somewhere in there? I don't want to mess things up so that's why I wanted to check first. Thanks!
