To check the page, use $pagenumber > 1. As for the collapse problem, I'm not sure, but it may be that since there's more than one postbit on the page, your collapse id isn't unique. Maybe try appending the postid to forumhome_activeusers. (Or maybe the userid would be more appropriate? But the collape system might not work that way, since I believe in html you really are only allowed to use an id once per page).
