The "Redirect Domain Whitelist" isn't for domains redirected to your site. It's to allow the vb code to redirect users from your site to other domains in certain situations. So adding domains to the list doesn't do any sort of active redirecting. If you're seeing an "Invalid redirect" error message then you might be able to fix it by adding the domain to the white list, otherwise you probably don't need to use it.
