vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Switching from xCache to APC -- troubles

I installed my forum and xCache because I had previous positive experience with it on another forum. After awhile I realized it was not working, it was active but not caching anything. This is because this new host is running php as fcgi not an apache mod and xCache has nothing to cache.

So, I went with APC instead as it seems to be very popular. I installed it on my server with no trouble, but getting vbulletin to make the switch is proving quite the task.

Whenever I switch my config to anything other than xcache I get nothing. No error, no site.

Any suggestions as to how to accomplish this?
