It does not seem to me that the categories have anything to do with administration. they allow the blogs to be grouped and can control the visiblity. since all usergroups can be specified, the mechanism seems general.

What is missing to me it the ability to edit the category after the blog is published. The category selection disappears once publication occurs.

Does anyone know why?
