That's a good point and I should have mentioned that I don't use secondary usergroups. Every member has only a primary usergroup.

But you were correct on the other suggestion. For some reasons there are some access masks which I don't recall ever setting. And these access masks are giving users permissions on the forum I had blocked them from. I will go delete these access masks now.
