Is there a way to keep anyone from signing up to my site before it is officially launched. Or can you set it so every user sign up has to be moderated?

Looks like a couple of spammers got on to my new site. Shows that there are x number of threads and x number of posts, but nothing is showing up. Anyone know what that is about?

Think I figured out the x number of threads and x number of posts. I think it's the default articles in the system.

But would still like to know how to keep anyone from signing up and/or moderate all new member sign ups.
