This mod at the current time doesn't allow inline moderation, so yes, users need to edit post and go advanced to soft delete them.

Maybe in newer version there will be option for this, but in my opinion, this as it is now is pretty big improvement to not being able to allow any kind of moderation to users at all. Users don't need to have all moderators tools at their disposal.
