A real quick first impression...your logo needs more work. The site name in it looks blurry and the small text under has artifacts.

Also the homepage, I think it needs some background shading/coloring to separate the blocks from each other visually. I came across this site the other day which has a nice subtle background effect to separate the main sections on the page....something like that light crosshatch design (maybe in a light hurricane green or orange) would look nice around your side column. I think you need more left margin on the right side column as well.

Your "remember me" button has a header line going through it (at least on my machine)...chrome/OSX.
