A Night To Remember
Imagine this: you've been sick for days, and you're late on a project. You've just woken up at 9:30pm from a fever dream. You're shivering. Your hands are shaking. You've been informed that your project deadline has been moved to midnight- Tonight! You must focus...Must. Code.
You ignore the tiny clock at the bottom right of your screen; it doesn't matter. All that matters are your hands, your keyboard, and your trusty text editor. Suddenly, your fingers are dancing across your keyboard. Symbols fly across the screen, effortlessly forming themselves into programming constructs. You lose track of where you are- Where are you?- You can see it. The code. It's beautiful.
You suddenly awaken from your trance and glance again at the tiny clock at the bottom right of your screen. It's 11:57. You look back at your editor. You're finished.
.... Ok, maybe it didn't happen that way exactly. But I did manage to code some complex functionality into a preexisting mod, while following vB standards and optimization best practices, in under 2 hours. I'm just so proud of myself that I had to let the vB community know my joy!
