As a regular user, it would be very easy to determine member's IP's:

Eve posts a link to an image, from a server she controls.
When Alice and Bob view the thread, their browser makes an external request to Eve's server (Revealing their IP)
Eve then accesses the Thread's Reader log, correlating the times Alice and Bob read the thread, with the requests made to her server.
Eve now has matching IP's to users.

Are there any settings of mods that handle this by saving the external linked image to the server automatically or blocking user IP's from being sent to external servers?
